Hi Guys,

Spoke to Michelle from Landmart. She said that she heard the meetings were going to be scheduled for may to inform us what is going on. I also noticed on the landmart website on fb that they have already scheduled a meeting in may for the home purchasers at the penny lane site in Stoney creek

All,

Landmart just posted on their facebook page about Keleidoscope:

Quote:
Kaleidoscope Phase 1. We know many of our future homeowners are anxious for information about Kaleidoscope Phase 1. We are in the process of setting up a venue for our Landmart Academy. At this seminar we will be able to answer many of your questions and explain the process going forward, including: site servicing, the décor selection process, home construction, warranty service and our new TLC Program. As soon as we have secured the venue and date we will make an announcement. We’ll also be posting more updates on Kaleidoscope soon.

I guess they figured it out: any news is better than no news.
On the bright side the facebook page format is not that bad

Here's what Landmart recently posted on their Facebook page:

"Kaleidoscope Phase 1. "Kaleidoscope Phase 1 update: Our land development team let us know that phase 1 went out for tender yesterday. What that means is we have requested quotes from companies that do the site servicing work (grading, underground sewers, roads and curbs) to quote on doing the work. The deadline for them to submit bids is May 11th.

To answer some questions we received - it takes about two weeks to award the contract. This bid process is public as some of the work is being completed on behalf of the City. Our development team will be at the Landmart Academy to fully explain the process."

So, it looks like it'll be at least until end of May before anything real happens :S

Here's the latest update:

"Kaleidoscope Phase 1 update: We have the room booked for our Landmart Academy seminar. It will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Syscon Road in Burlington at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 8, 2012. We’ll be sending out official invitations as soon as we get them printed.

I'll be there, that's for sure!

Hi, has anyone received 2nd delay notices yet? We have been delayed until January 24th now but that date is impossible as building permits aren't suppose to be back until the end of the year. There will likely be another 120 day delay at best
